Tourist safety vital

Two cruise ships that were supposed to have arrived in Nadi this week bringing more than 2000 tourists cancelled travel to Fiji for safety reasons.
As Severe Tropical Cyclone Pam moved closer to the country earlier this week, cruise ship operators re-routed ships as a precaution.
Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association President, Dixon Seeto, said the loss of business to Port Denarau and tourist attractions in Nadi was secondary to the safety of visitors to the country.
