There were reports of smoke “billowing” from Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Liberty in St. Maarten Friday morning, but the line says there was no fire, just an overheated bearing in the forward section.
“Guests from a small number of staterooms near the forward section of the ship were temporarily vacated from their cabins as a precaution while the shipboard teams were handling the situation,” company spokesman Vance Gulliksen said in an email.

If you get a Coral cut while in the ocean, do not rinse the cut with fresh water, instead scrape the cut with sand and sea water or if available water and soap and then with vinegar to kill the life of the Coral. My guide rinsed it with fresh water and the ship doctor gave me an ointment to put on. Both were terrible incorrect. I ended up with the life growing in my knee and it took 2 months to heal. I got antibiotics from my Fam. Doctor to avoid infection, but what it really cured was my treating it 3 to 4 times a day with vinegar, it hurts. My Dermatologist told me that was what healed it eventually.
