Cruise Lines Keeping an Eye on 99L Storm

Meteorologists and homeowners aren’t the only ones keeping an eye on a storm that could potentially threaten South Florida and the Caribbean.
Cruise lines with ships, possibly sailing near what is now being called 99L are monitoring the system as it approaches from the east.
The Port of Miami and Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale are two of the busiest cruise ports in the world, with thousands of passengers boarding each and every week. So far, none of the major cruise lines, like Miami-based Carnival has made changes to their itineraries.
South Florida’s Norwegian Cruise Line says all their ships are sailing as scheduled.
