Crime on Port Canaveral cruise ships is in decline, according to a new survey released Monday.
Jenn Williams of Atlanta boarded a Disney ship this weekend with her two kids.
“This is our third time on the ship. We’re very happy with Disney; trust them with our children,” Williams said.
Disney ships have the highest marks of any Port Canaveral-based ship when it comes to health and safety, according the nonprofit public interest website ProPublica.org
The No. 1 reported crime on cruise ships is sexual assaults, according to the report.
A total of 113 crimes were reported on Port Canaveral ships in 2013, four in 2014, and none so far in 2015.
